Teaching Philosophy
Every student--from every background, musical ability, and age--is teachable. As an educator, my job is to meet the student at their current level and interests to cultivate their growth in knowledge, skill, and life.
Why Teaching?
I teach music because it enriches the lives of all of my students and myself. I teach for the moments where I can see the lightbulb going off. I teach because it helps me feel closer to other people and to help remind me of my own humanity.
