About Me
Creating a supportive and motivating environment is essential for learning. The more personalized a lesson is, the more effective it becomes. As teachers, we must meet students where they are, addressing their unique needs as emerging artists. It’s important to remember what it felt like when we took our first class, those early challenges and aspirations, so we can guide them with empathy and encouragement.
Teaching Philosophy
We all experience moments when we need guidance to move forward, and that is why I teach. Studying under fabulous mentors, I know I couldn’t have gained this understanding of my voice and identity as an artist without their generosity and dedication. Teaching music is more than passing down knowledge... it’s about shaping artists, fostering integrity, and guiding them as they navigate their careers.
