Our Story
A team of passionate, caring, college music education students.
When I was in high school, my parents decided to invest in a new piano. With a budget in mind, they set out looking. For months they searched, until coming across an estate sale of a woman who had a love for art. So much in fact, she purchased a cherry red baby grand piano to match one of her prized pieces in her art collection.
That year I picked up a few neighborhood kids to teach lessons to. Fast forward three years, and I began college in Rochester Hills. In my second year, I began the studio with it's official name- Red Piano Music Studio. By the second year of operation we had grown to have a staff of seven fabulous instructors, teaching every instrument, to every age. By year 3, we have opened a storefront at 1049 John R. Road, where we will continue our promise of excellent music education to every student.
Red Piano Music Studio's founder, owner, and all our teaching staff are all education majors at Oakland University. They are all highly qualified musicians and educators, with a love of music and a passion for teaching.
Here at RPMS, our goal is to offer innovative, creative, exceptional education in the arts. We strive to implement student-centered learning, encouraging a passion for the arts in all our students.
