Ms. Jessica
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that music can be one of the most engaging and long-lasting effects on children/adults. I believe every student deserves to experience the capabilities that music can bring.
Meet Ms. Jessica! She is a recent college graduate from Central Michigan University. While at CMU, she studied with Dr. Alexandra Mascolo-David, and Dr. Jay Batzner. She received two degrees in Piano Performance and Music Theory & Composition. During her time in college, she participated in various ensembles and had her musical compositions premiered at student showcases and competitions. She also wrote a Flute Quartet piece that was premiered out of the state of Michigan! Currently, she is the Director at Red Piano Music Studio, where she teaches piano/composition.
Why Teaching?
I teach because music is something we all can benefit from. I believe there are benefits to teaching that can impact individuals in various positive ways. We all deserve to find some form of music that we feel a connection to.
